3 Bridleways (8.01 miles 12.82 km )The route has changed from previous years with a newly opened bridle path which bypasses the last stretch of road work. The full route takes you out of Apedale Country Park along hard track, down Ththrough Halmer End village, through Bateswood Nature Reserve, passes through Hollywoods, to return along new Silverdale Skyline BP and back to the venue through Apedale Park.Apedale and Silverdale. The tracks at Silverdale are a joy to ride and should be a model for public access to reclaimed industrial sites. Riders have their own dedicated track, clearly waymarked, right around the Park. This is either grass, mown in September 2019, or a hoof friendly gravel. There is a great uphill canter track too! For a talk round, print the waypoints.
